Friday 5: Links I Loved

Today we leave bright and early to visit some of our dear friends in Michigan. I am ecstatic! But rest assured, I didn't leave you without a Friday 5. I know, it's what you look forward to all week, right? =)

Links I Loved
  1. Met a new blogging friend, Caroline, at Musings in Montage and am loving her posts. This girl can write! Such bold, challenging, truth-spitting words that encourage me in my relationship with Christ. Here's one of her recent posts and a favorite of mine.
  2. This potato soup recipe. Mmm, mmm good. The man and I love this with crisp bacon stirred in and homemade biscuits or bread on the side. I actually 1/4 the recipe, and it still makes a ton. Healthier than most recipes I've seen for potato soup. Still not the besthealth wise, but it is super cheap to make. Courtesy of Tips From a Typical Mom.

A few new findings for the week:

  1. Kinfolkmag.com > This one leaves this foodie speechless. The layout of their site, the quality of their videos, it's all incredible. And on March 16 they are, ironically enough, hosting a baking classes in Ljubljana, Slovenia, just down the road from me. Will report back on the [personally highly anticipated] event.
  2. Loving these new rings from my middle-school friend Megan's Etsy shop, Nestled! So adorable.
  3. Whipped up these chocolate brownie cookies, and will gladly be doing so again in the future. I skipped the added candies on top and used finely ground coffee instead of espresso powder. Yummo.
  4. Jamming out to Hillsong's newly released album, Zion. The. Bomb.

Any interesting finds on the web for you this week? Enjoy your weekend!
