I had a different post ready to go for today, but in the last couple days a couple of women have reached out to me about their very recent losses in miscarriage, and undoubtedly there are more who haven't. My heart truly grieves with each of you as you share with me about your pain.
As I scroll through Instagram and post my own pictures and stories, I'm reminded that so many people are going through so much that we are truly unaware of, miscarriage or otherwise.
My heart feels burdened today to remind you that you are not alone. If you are a child of God, then you can rest in his love and care for you, knowing he sees and knows every detail of your life. Even if it feels like he is distant or absent in the midst of your circumstances, I promise he is not.
If you haven't yet made that decision to turn to Jesus, he is there with open arms, ready to meet you in all your mess and pain. And if you have no idea how to do that or what that even means, please reach out to me.
God is unchanging, remaining steadfast in a world of incredibly uncertainty. Rest in his grace that is sufficient for you, day after day, no matter the situation.
As I've shared before, music, along with the Word of God, prayer and several other things, really helps me process through what I'm experiencing and feeling. Here are just a few tracks that have been ministering to my weary soul lately.
